UIC announces first half net profit of KD 1.96 million

The United Industries Company board of directors has approved the financial results for the first six months of 2008 on Sunday 20/7/2008. The net profit period is KD 1,961,333 (US$ 7,394,281). The earnings per share during this period reached 7.98 fils/share.

UIC’s profits during the second quarter of 2008 increased by 172% (KD 907,719) to reach KD 1,434,526 compared to the profit of KD 526,807 for the first quarter of 2008.
